stuffing the stockings is one of my favorite parts of christmas. stockings were a critical part of my christmases growing up...perhaps even more than the presents themselves. i have carried on that tradition myself. here are some of my favorite stocking stuffer ideas for kids of all ages. enjoy!

what kid doesn't like temporary tattoos? this book from melissa & doug is filled with fun, appropriate tattoos. (there is a girl version, too).
this is just hilarious. there are no words.
mad libs are a classic. i love that they make it in a junior edition for the younger kiddos.
if you have not been introduced to wikki sticks yet, they are amazing. i love to use them for travel, at a restaurant or even while waiting for a drs appointment. they are a fun, creative outlet for all kiddos.
if you have a preschooler or kinder aged student these water wow books are for you! the pen simply is filled with water so no mess and a great tool for practicing letters, numbers or art.
if you have a little one, this whoozit was a favorite for both of my littles. the colors are fun and graphic and they loves the textures and sounds.
can't wait to introduce my littles to silly putty! i have so many childhood memories of playing with this stuff.

kinetic sand has to be one of my favorite items of the past year or so. it is such a fun products that not only keeps the kiddos entertained, but me too.
